Rhythmspirit Percussion Rhythm Events for everyone!!!! Rhythmspirit Percussion will provide you with an interactive drumming experience that you will be talking about for a very long time. Whether you are looking for educational workshops, stress reduction, team building or just good old fashion fun, Rhythmspirit Percussion is there for you. Rhythm event facilitators Dennis Maberry and Jimi Comfort have years of playing, teaching, and presenting percussion related rhythm events. Besides working with adults and children, we also have extensive experience working with special needs populations and have worked with organizations such as Special Olympics, SPARC, and the Mac. County School for Developmental Disabilities. Dennis has recently developed his "Everyone's Drumming: Developing and Implementing a Percussion Based Rhythm Program for Social Service Organizations". The program debuted at the Illinois Association for Rehab Facilities' (IARF) Annual Convention and was a hit. Dennis Maberry has developed his "Rhythm is Life" program using the Health Rhythms protocol. Studies have demonstrated that group drumming has several beneficial health benefits including a healthier immune system and lower levels of stress. For this reason the Health Rhythms protocol is being used in a variety of health related organizations.
